The 2009 CSI Northwest Region Conference will be held in Seward, Alaska on September 10-12, hosted by the Cook Inlet Chapter. THe Chapter President is Scott E. Brodt, CSI, CDT

Christmas Social - 2008 On December 2nd, the first annual Christmas Social was held at the Stone House in Boise. CSI members and their significant others enjoyed spirits, conversation, and fun. Twenty-two people were in attendance to see the following CSI awards presented:

ØZGA Architects and Planners, Chartered, for rendering significant service to the Idaho Chapter of CSI in the advancement of its objectives or in its administration. ZGA has been instrumental in keeping our chapter going through the hard times. For the past 10 years, ZGA has been the number one supporter of the AIA/CSI Golf Scramble. They have graciously given time and support for individual efforts to pursue the growth and commitment of our chapter. They have also contributed by giving our chapter a place to have our monthly meetings.
ØTerracon Consultants, Inc., for rendering significant service to the Idaho Chapter of CSI in the advancement of its objectives or in its administration. Terracon has graciously supported in time for individual effort and has contributed substance and depth for continuing education, supporting our chapter and the NW Region.

Jeffers, AIA, CSI, for rendering outstanding service to the Idaho Chapter of CSI in the advancement of its objectives and in its administration, serving on the Board of Directors, Chapter Vice President, Awards Chairman, Region Conference Delegate. &The Chapter Distinguished Service Award Presented to Karen Morris, CSI, CDT: Without this individual's efforts, the Idaho Chapter of CSI could very easily have disappeared. Her years of service and dedication to CSI are exemplary. She has attained numerous local and regional awards recognizing these efforts. Distinguished service is long term, continuous service that has resulted in important contributions to the Chapter and to the service of the Idaho Chapter CSI in the advancement of its objectives and in its administration.

2008 Northwest Region Conference
The 2008 North West Region Conference was held on September 25-27 at the historic Mayflower Park Hotel in downtown Seattle, WA.
The conference was hosted by the Puget Sound Chapter of CSI, Gene Fosheim, President. Chapter members escorted conference attendees to local eateries in order to enjoy a nice dinner.
On breaks attendees were able to visit several different nearby shopping centers, stores, or restaurants. In the evenings shopping and sightseeing were available and Pikes Market was a mere 5 to 10 minute walk.
